Registering for 3-Day Program?

The course is comprised of three one-day sessions at a cost of $85 per person for the entire 3-day course.  To be recognized as a Kentucky Master Logger, the participant must attend and participate in all three days.  It is recommended that you wear comfortable clothing and dress for current weather conditions.  Field activities that require minimal physical ability (mainly hiking in forested areas) are a part of the program when possible.

The course times are from 9 am to 4 pm local time each day, and lunch will not be provided.  In most cases there are local establishments to dine at or you can bring a sack lunch.  Each program is limited to 50 participants.

Registering for Continuing Education (6 hours)?

In order to maintain your Master Logger designation, the Kentucky Forest Conservation Act requires Kentucky Master Loggers to obtain six hours of Continuing Education (CE) before the expiration date listed on your Master Logger card. Master Logger designations are valid for three years from the date the card was issued. If the required six hours are not obtained prior to your expiration date, then your designation will be revoked and your name will be removed from the active Master Logger list. At that point, the only way to regain your Master Logger status is by re-attending a 3-Day Master Logger Class.  Pay close attention to your expiration date and schedule to attend a CE Class before that date in order to renew your designation for another three-year period.

You can register for a course by printing out the CE registration form.
